Jesse Litsch To Have Tommy John Surgery as Pitching Injuries Mount

Jesse Litsch will go under the knife on Friday after injuring his arm on April 13th. It was first reported as a strained right forearm and was thought not be to serious.
Unfortunately, Litsch started to feel extreme soreness in his elbow while rehabbing at the Jays' training facility in Florida. His second visit to Dr. James Andrews revealed no ligament damage, but it has been decided that Litsch will have the surgery to fix his arm problem right away.
