Francisco Rodriguez (known to some as K-Rod) has swept in and quelled the Mets' nearly quarter-century bullpen drought.
After being tortured by John Franco (I don't care how many saves he has—please), Armando Benitez, Braden Looper and Billy Wagner, Met fans can finally watch the ninth inning of a game without covering their face.
This kid came here with high expectations and he has delivered. Unfortunately, the team is having a rocky year leaving his heroics to be somewhat overshadowed.
