Hideki Matsui Had Fluid Drained from Knee

Last week we noticed that Hideki Matsui’s knees have been bothering him and they’ve already forced him to miss baseball games. This week we found out why.
According to George King of the NY Post, Matsui had to have fluid drained from his left knee and missed games because of that.
Two weeks into the season, Hideki Matsui’s surgically repaired left knee already has needed to be drained.
According to GM Brian Cashman, Matsui had fluid taken out of the hinge last Thursday and there is a level of concern about the designated hitter.
