Boston Bruin’s Ice Break: Michael Ryder Dominates

On Wednesday night, the Boston Bruins were equitably on the verge to beat a longtime rival in a decade, however, in spite of everything, the Montreal Canadians were no laughing matter.

In the opening moments, Montreal's Andrei Kostitisyn quickly took a pass from teammate Saku Koivu, and shot the puck into the top right corner of the net, gaining a 1-0 lead.

The clock above the scoreboard showed how long it took—a sudden 39-seconds.

The Canadians almost dominated the scoring chances during the entire opening period. Although they out-shot their opponents 16-7 in the sold-out Bell Centre crowded stadium, they would still be defeated.
