How else could you describe the finale between the two teams that have the longest running rivalry in professional hockey? What more could you add to the seething hatred that the respective fan bases have for each other's teams? Who else could think of a more total and complete humiliation of one team against another?
But as of 10:00 p.m. last night, that brief moment of glory for the Bruins was over. It is the past in every sense of the word. Now is time for the next step.
