The top line guys came out and did what they needed to do: play big, play strong and take it to the Ducks. Joe, Patty, and Devin all worked hard and deserved full marks for coming in and leading this team—proving the fans, media, and to themselves that they will not go down without a fight.
As a fan who has questioned the leadership core of this team, I got a huge smack in the face by the play of these players. And I’m happy to report that I’m glad I did. I want this team to show up every night like this.
