Daily Haze: ESPN v. NFLN’s Draft Coverage

So like I said yesterday, I probably watched all but 30 minutes of this year’s NFL Draft. That was a lot of Mel Kiper Jr., Todd McShay, Mike Mayock and certainly, Chris Berman.
I started the day avoiding ESPN altogether. But while I really like Rich Eisen and Mayock, the NFL Network’s whole setup was just kind of boring to me. I found the graphics unappealing and the draft tracker boring and uninformative. So after about 30 minutes on NFLN, I decided to switch over to ESPN.
What the WorldWide Leader does best is looks. The graphics were sharp and modern, and there was more than enough information scrolling along the bottom of the screen. I avoided ESPN early on because of the anticipated Kipe...
