If John Danks didn't have bad luck, he'd have no luck at all. Still, Danks didn't let that stop him from rebounding from his two worst starts of the year.
After getting roughed up in his last start, which also came against the Rangers, Danks got a little bit of revenge, pitching six strong innings, giving up just four hits, and one run, earned. He walked just one batter, while striking out ten. His ERA sits at an impressive 3.41.
As per usual, though, offense was not in heavy demand with John on the bump, as the South Side Hit Men racked up just seven hits on the day, all coming of off Rangers starter Kevin Millwood.
