Mavericks Call Foul as They Fall to the Nuggets

The first 47 minutes and 54 seconds itself is not what prompts me to write this piece. It was the final six seconds of the game that is interesting.
Down two, Denver inbounds the ball to Carmelo Anthony who dribbles the ball above the three-point line. Antoine Wright defends Anthony as Anthony makes his way close to the baseline.
Dallas had a foul to give and Wright clearly made contact with Anthony in the closing seconds as he swatted at the ball.
Wright backed off apparently thinking the foul would be called, but no whistle was blow...
