Parcells’ Coaching Tree Branches Out to Kansas City

Bill Parcells resides in tropical south Florida, but his influence extends to the Great Plains.
Much of the Kansas City Chiefs’ coaching staff has direct ties to Parcells, the Miami Dolphins’ executive vice president of football operations.
Parcells gave Todd Haley, the Chiefs’ new head coach, his first job in the NFL.
Haley served as a New York Jets offensive assistant/quality control and WR coach during Parcells’ head coaching tenure from 1997 to 1999. He later worked for him as the Dallas Cowboys’ passing game coordinator/ WR coach.
