And let me preface this by saying, I love Cleveland fans. I'm one of them and they are what makes rooting for the Indians a joyful experience, more so when they are winning. I also do not believe this is the makeup the entire group, but there are a lot of these types of fans out there.
A typical Cleveland fan, not just of the Indians for that matter, is pessimistic. They want to be cautious about the success of their team until they feel it is a reality, because really this city hasn't sealed the deal in quite a long time.
The memory of winning it all is distant, if anything non-existent.
