In terms of class size the Red Sox pitching staff would fit rather nicely in a one room school house. I can envision Professor John Farrell in front of the black board with a long wooden pointer in his hand teaching his students of the long and storied history of the curve ball.

Little Jon Lester sits in the front row with his hands folded on his desk, dressed nicely and neatly groomed the star of the class, while Josh Beckett, the appointed leader of the group carves his initials in the top of the old oak desk.

Dice K sits in the front of the class smiling and bowing as each of the ten students walks into the room. Saying nothing. Just smiling and bowing.
