As fans, we always talk about rooting for the laundry. Meaning, regardless of who is dressed in the uniform, we support the team and not the collection of individuals. That can be hard. When Nomar Garciaparra left Boston, there were people on both sides of the fence. Even with the problems in the clubhouse, the desire for Manny Ramirez to stay last season was just as obvious.
