The Indians (25-34) are coming off of a series against, division foe, Chicago and are looking to take their second consecutive series against a division opponent as they took two of three from the White Sox.
The Royals, after a strong start to the season, have hit a rough patch lately and are looking to get back into a very winnable AL Central race.
Game One has Kansas City's Brian Bannister, (4-3, 4.97 ERA) who is coming off of a tough start against Tampa Bay, going 3.2 innings giving up nine hits and eight earned runs in his third loss of the season.
