Atlanta Braves’ Ultimate 40-Man Roster

The Braves organization has called several places home since 1870 including Boston, Milwaukee, and Atlanta. They have had numerous nicknames such as the Red Stockings, the Red Caps, the Beaneaters, the Doves, the Rustlers, the Bees, and the Braves.

Along the way, they have had some of the greatest baseball players of all time play in their lineups.

I have gone through their storied history and compiled the ultimate 40-man roster from all eras. Doing this has really opened my eyes to just how great the players were in the early days.

I based my roster on players that have played at least 450 games in any of the Braves uniforms from 1870 until the present.
