Dodgers-Marlins: LA Romps Florida; Kershaw Takes No-Hit Bid Into Eighth

Clayton Kershaw was wild on Sunday. At times, he struggled with his control and had thrown over 100 pitches by the eight inning. Yet, after seven innings, he still had not allowed a hit.

While not having the best control, Kershaw still pitched an effective game. So effective that many at LandShark Stadium were preparing to witness history.

Perhaps it was his own team that doomed Kershaw. The top of the eighth was a long one as the Dodgers put four runs on the board to give Kerhsaw a 10-run lead. By the time he returned to the mound, his sharpness was gone and his velocity was decreased.
