One of the four players that the Minnesota Twins received for their former star, Johan Santana, may soon be gone.
The Twins today announced that they have designated long reliever Phillip Humber for assignment.
The move comes a night after the bullpen allowed the Toronto Blue Jays to post a seven spot in the seventh inning to end the pitcher's duel and effectively hand the team their fifth loss in the past six games.
Humber came over to the team last season along with center fielder Carlos Gomez and minor league pitchers Kevin Mulvey and Deolis Guerra.
