Grady Sizemore only had one hit, but it was a historic blast.
The Indians center fielder hit the first grand slam in new Yankee Stadium history as Cleveland spoiled the opening game for Yankee fans. The win may provide Cleveland a much-needed boost.
The Indians are off to a 3-7 start, Sizemore came into the game hitting just .211 and starter Cliff Lee got back on track after an ugly couple starts. Lee held New York to one run over seven innings.
