There was more serious competition at this position than probably any other I’ve done. Look at what all I had to sift through. Roger Maris, Darryl Strawberry, Dave Parker, Andre Dawson, Dewey Evans, Paul O’Neill, Rocky Colavito, Charlie Keller, Dixie Walker, just to name a few of them.
Again it was difficult separating left and right fielders but I did the best I could. You also won’t see Jose Canseco on this list because after looking at most of his stats and then going to the fielding part of the calculations I discovered he actually played more as a Designated Hitter than anything else. Look at him to be high on that list.
