Troy Tulowitzki Finally Finds His Stroke for the Rockies

2007—The month that Troy Tulowitzki burst into the national spotlight with the Colorado Rockies en route to their first World Series birth in franchise history.

In his rookie year, Tulo had arguably the best season ever by an NL rookie shortstop.  His 99 RBIs broke the old NL rookie shortstop record, previously held by Nomar Garciaparra.

Tulo even completed an unassisted triple play that year, and helped lead the Rockies to a record .989 fielding percentage.

He finished second in the NL Rookie of the Year voting, and also second in NL Gold Glove voting.  Tulo looked to be the Rockies' next great arm at shortstop.
