When the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta concluded, work began to retrofit the Olympic stadium into a baseball-only park. The 1997 season was the inaugural season for the Braves in their new home, Turner Field. The official capacity of Turner Field is 49,743 which is relatively large for a baseball stadium.

The Fan Plaza is a great place to start your game day experience. Here you will find two food pavilions, plenty of entertainment, a 100-foot photographic of Hank Aarons, and the actual 715th home run ball.
