This pattern (as of this publication date) is why the Atlanta Braves sit at 30-30.
But, what can the Braves' front office really do?
The pitching is sitting pretty with Lowe, Jurrjens, Vazquez, Kawakami, and Hanson; as is the bullpen with key cogs Moylan, O'Flaherty, Gonzalez, and Soriano.
Then the offense is hit-and-miss (as we all know), but therein lies the problem: Why reduce minor league depth when your line-up is at the, if you will, " competency line?"
