Yankees’ Prospect Ian Kennedy Has Numbness in Pitching Hand

According to Chad Jennings of the Scranton Times-Tribune, Ian Kennedy left his last start with numbness in his pitching hand went to New York to see the Yankees team doctor. His next scheduled start was supposed to be Saturday.

"Starting pitcher Ian Kennedy left Monday night’s game in Rochester because of numbness in one of the fingers of his pitching hand. He went to a doctor in Rochester after the game and today he’s in New York seeing a Yankees team doctor. There won’t be much more information available until Kennedy gets back and the Yankees get the results of today’s tests."
