Breaking News: Kevin Garnett Has Successful Surgery

Kevin Garnett just underwent successful arthroscopic knee surgery on his right knee. The surgery removed posterior bone spurs that caused Garnett to miss the entire playoffs, along with 25 games this regular season.

The surgery was deemed successful by the Celtics team doctor, Dr. Brian Mckeon.

Garnett will be able to start rehabbing immediately.

This is great news for the Boston Celtics, as he will be expected to be fully recovered and fully healthy for the start of the 2009-2010 season.
