The Playoffs are a new season. Just a week and a half ago on a playoff eve afternoon I caught a wind of new optimism for the Pistons.
They can throw the season out now, I reasoned. We’re all glad its over. Now we can focus on one team.
That was the optimistic fan in me. I wouldn’t have bet on them. (Unless I just happened to be in Vegas on vacationing or something. Real small amount.)
The realistic fish in my Pisces said, as I wrote, just win one for us! I knew they were facing a possible sweep.
