Director’s Cut of “Space Jam” Reveals Different Movie and Players (Humor)

Recently, Warner Brothers released the 2 Disc Director's Cut Collector's Limited Ultimate Edition DVD of Space Jam. One of the many features on the disc is over an hour of never before seen footage that shows almost a completely different film.
Despite the fact that half of the movie's cast is animated, producer Ivan Reitman wanted the basketball scenes to be as close to the real thing as possible. That meant that he wanted the Monstar aliens to act especially like the players whose powers they possessed.
In a bigger change, the viewer now learns that Patrick Ewing, Mugsy Bogues, Larry Johnson, and Shawn Bradley were not the original choices for the players...
