Donnie Walsh, Reggie Miller, and Stephen Curry: Irony for the New York Knicks?

In the 1987 NBA Draft, then GM of the Indiana Pacers, Donnie Walsh, took a huge gamble with the 11th pick.

With soon to be future NBA stars such as Mark Jackson and Reggie Lewis still on the board, Walsh took a massive risk and selected a skinny and scrawny shooting guard named Reggie Miller out of UCLA.

When Pacer fans heard this selection, they booed and got right on Donnie Walsh's case.

Little did these fans know, Reggie Miller would not only go onto to be the all-time leader in three pointers made, but also a New York Knick killer throughout the 1990's playoff runs.
