Why wouldn’t I? This series is a joke, but it should give those that follow basketball a few things to talk about.
The first being that the NBA needs to completely restructure their playoff seeding, and they should do it for one reason—the fans.
There is no reason why the Pistons should even be in the playoffs with a 39-43 record, while a team like Phoenix who played in a much tougher conference and finished the regular season at 46-36 are watching from home.
That aside, why should teams like the Utah Jazz, who finished 14 games above .500, have to play the Lakers in the first round?
