Nuggets Defeat Lakers on Turnaround Thursday, 106-103

The way the Denver Nuggets had been dominating in the first two rounds of the playoffs, it was out of character that they should blow a 16-point first quarter lead against the Lakers on Tuesday night.

But it wasn’t out of character for the Lakers to do such a thing.

And that’s exactly what happened on "Turnaround Thursday" as the Nuggets defeated the Lakers 106-103, to even their Western Conference Final series at one game apiece.

The Lakers dominated the Nuggets for nearly the entire first half. Then, within the last three minutes, they watched their 14-point lead dwindle to just one point, 55-54, as the Nuggets went on a 14-2 run.
