Oklahoma City Thunder Interim Coach Scott Brooks to Return Next Season

With less that eight hours left in Oklahoma City's first season, it has been announced the interim tag will be removed from current head coach Scott Brooks. The hire was announced by Chris Silvia of the Thunder Blog.
Brooks took over the Thunder on Nov. 22. This announcement was made known to him on a plane ride to New Orleans.
The Thunder grew and developed into a competitive team under the guidance of Scott Brooks. From day one, Brooks has preached a defensive philosophy. He oversaw the movement of Kevin Durant from shooting guard to small forward and Jeff Green from small forward to power forward.
