Toronto Raptors Trade Kapono to 76ers for Evans

Today the Toronto Raptors traded sharpshooter Jason Kapono to the Philadelphia 76ers for rebounding machine Reggie Evans.
Kapono, two-time winner of the NBA's Long Distance Shootout at All-Star Weekend and a career 45.4 percent marksman from three-point range was the shooter sought by the 76ers to give them the outside presence they have lacked since trading away Kyle Korver.
"We are very excited to add one of the league's most prolific three-point shooters in Jason Kapono," Sixers general manager Ed Stefanski said. "We feel that this move addresses our goal of improving our shooting from the perimeter. (ESPN)
