The 2008 Bills coaching staff didn't go deep into their bag of tricks. With a second-year quarterback, the team rightly kept things relatively simple, and when Trent Edwards suffered a concussion in Week Five, things moved even closer to the vest.
Other than a brief flirtation with the Wildcat formation, the Buffalo playbook was filled with extra protection and simple attempts at deceit.
