First things first, I was certain and even commented on some post here, that Aaron Curry was going at No. 3. Instead the team decided to go with LSU DE Tyson Jackson.
I still would rather have Curry, but as I look closer at Jackson, I am growing more and more fond of this pick. He fits in with the new 3-4 defense and will be reunited with former LSU teammate Glenn Dorsey.
What shocked me the most was that there wasn't a trade made to get a second round pick. Pioli had indicated that he might use the 2010 pick from the Falcons as a bargaining chip.
