Seahawks Sign Pittman

His agent, Kevin Gold, confirmed he has signed a one year contract, the amount is undisclosed. The total is probably in the $400,000 range.
Pittman replaces recently released LS Tyler Schmitt, a sixth round pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.
Former Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren described Schmitt as "having the back of a 60 year old," one would assume this was the primary reason for his release.
After missing the entire 2008 season the Seahawk's simply cut their losses.
