At least this fake retirement party didn't last as long as last year's. Once Brett Favre announced his second retirement in February, without tears this time, it was only a matter of time before he reconsidered and trotted back onto the practice field in June and July.
Some will say, and rightfully so, that they are tired of having to deal with Brett Favre and his inability to make up his mind. The guy is 40 years-old, and is no longer the same player he was two or even three years ago.
Jets fans knew this when they saw Favre flop around like a fish in the final game of the 2008 season against the Miami Dolphins, as Favre helped complete one of the greatest regular season collaps...
