Bruins-Canadiens: Boston Takes Two-Game Lead Into Montreal

It was a night of success for the Boston Bruins, as they continued to claw through the postseason.

In the first period, Montreal's Sergi Kostitsin would go to the box at 8:45 of the first period for a hook, giving the Bruins the first power play of the game—and they would not let it go to waste.

Marc Savard would get the scoring frenzy started at 1:14 into the power play, as he blasted a wrister past Cary Price with help from Kessel and Montodor.

Then the Bruins would capitalize again before the end of the first, as Chuck Kobesew scored with an assist from Bergeron and Rechi at 15:35.
