Flyers Injury Updates: Hips Don’t Lie

Evidently, Jeff Carter separated his shoulder while sliding into the boards in game three of the first round against the Penguins. Luckily enough, the injury will not require surgery, but it will need at least two weeks of rehab and rest.
Furthermore, Winger Darrol Powe has a torn labrum in his hip, no updates on a surgery date. Simon Gagne, Antero Niittymaki, and defensemen Randy Jones also are headed to get their hips examined. It is not yet known if any of them will need surgery.
Gagne's injury was said to have started around the end of the season through the playoff series.
