Jonathan Bernier- G, 8/7/1988, First round pick (11th overall) in 2006, Lewiston (QMJHL), Manchester (AHL)
Bernier is one of the best goaltending prospects in the world right now. He is a hybrid goalie, using a mixture of the stand-up and butterfly styles, similar to future hall-of-famer Marty Brodeur. He seems to have been inconsistent this year in the QMJHL, but has also lacked the defensive support that makes a goalie successful. Even Marty Brodeur can’t stop every puck by himself.
