I recently had a debate with a friend about the best professional sports franchise in the past 25 years.
Rather than make my case for one team over another, I propose a community suggestion box of sorts.
So, now I’m accepting nominations. Please leave a comment of the teams who should be under consideration. Results will turn into an article with a poll.
I'll get you started: My nomination is the Detroit Red Wings.
Their resume includes playoff berths every year since 1991 (with the exception of the strike season of 2005). They've won eight consecutive division titles and four Stanley Cups since 1997.
