The Capitals re-discovered their skating and offensive talent in time to bury the Rangers and force a game seven in their playoff series.
As a Bruins fan, I have two words for this development: Just wonderful.
Playoff match-ups are rather like a game of full-contact 3D chess played on an earthquake fault-line. It isn’t enough to outplay and out think each opponent one game at a time; you also have to have some degree of luck in who you line up with so as to increase your chances of moving ahead.
